I've taken the lenses out a couple of times a year, but mostly just rinse. I've swapped rubbers and they have been in for a tune up by Oakley about 4 or 5 years ago. The rubbers might age a bit quicker, but nothing much. I think sweating and body oils are at least as bad. Since my Half jackets, Radar and Splits have gotten sticky at least as quick (use them for running, skiing and cycling)

Last summer and they still look great.

That I can fully understand! At the moment, without having a polarised lens for an XX , I am leaning towards a non serial 24k which I picked up last week and had out with me for the last three pretty bright days and they seem to do a great job for job of cutting the glare right down. I've never had too much experience of the 24k lens over the years, but they have pleasantly surprised me! I may have a holiday favourite

What are your thoughts with the deep water as an everyday lens option?

I wear then 4-5 days a week. It's a great everyday lens. Only to be shared with a random Ruby, Sapphire or BI.
