Hey everyone,

I was wondering if the polished aluminum pro M-Frames are "rare" in any way? Are they hard to come by or what's the deal?

Thank you for any input,

Sander

Yes, they are rare. Even more rare one in new condition, since the coating tends to chip more easily than other colorways. The folding M frame is less rare and can be found for auction fairly frequently.

I didnt think they were that rare I saw a couple of them on ebay a month or two ago that sold for around $85-$100 bucks! I should have grabed one!

Just remembered i have one of these bad mofo's.....the box says VR28 lens but i think i put a black iridium lens in it.
A family member gave these to me as a birthday gift back in the day, believe these started my oakley obsession , i never wore it but i believe i later switched the lens, does it look like a black iridium lens to you guys?

Really? I've been using mine a lot for like fifteen years now, and the only place the coating is coming of is the inside of the earstems. They still rock imho.:cool-20: Or are mine a different finish?

That lens does look like a black iridium lens.

The "aluminum" Pro M Frames are painted and the paint does wear off pretty easily.
