Non-polarized. I would have paid the extra 50 or so bucks for polarized had it been available since these are a collectable piece; but truthfully I think the regular Black Iridium is fine from a functional perspective. I have Fire Iridiums in my Crowbars for snowboarding and have never felt the need to spend more for polarized lenses. Just personal preference though - to each his own. My mother only wears Maui Jims which are polarized and she refuses to wear anything else.

The X-Squareds (Polished Carbon/Black Iridium Polarized) that I hope to obtain by the end of the year will be polarized, since that's how they come by default.
