Questions About Oakley Penny

I have found a pair of Oakley Penny's for sale that the seller claims they are in perfect condition. Seller wants $180. How much are the glasses worth and what do I look for to figure out if they are fakes. The case I can tell is not original but looks like a real Oakley case. Do fakes use rubber in between the connectionsof the pieces? Thanks for any input. The Penny was before my Oakley retail days so I am interested to learn and possibly pick up my first collectible pair =)

They are definable worth the asking price, especially if that's the Xmetal ( can't tell from the pics) finish with Ruby. They may of may not have a serial. Those look genuine from here.
fake Penny are rare, usually non original colours and often made of plastic ( unlike other fake xmetals).

As said, fakes are rare and obvious on the Penny. $180 is a great price. Even if you don't like them, you could turn a profit by reselling.

I actually was considering having a section in my store for collectible and discontinued models. If I can buy these for $150, what do you think I could list them at for resale?
