Quick Question - Flak And Half Jackets

Are you referring to the standard or the XLJ lenses?

Ok, i'm not at home so i can't be 100% sure, but it really depends on a number of variables.

I discovered that there are generation differences in the Flak XLJ lenses. Newer (i think) lenses seem to be longer and the part that sticks out, sticks out further. I don't own any standard lenses so i can't help you, but here are pics of the different frames and lenses i have in my collection.

Flak is larger than the Half. Here's a Half Jacket XLJ sitting on top of the installed Flak XLJ. You can see the HJ lens is narrower temple-to-nose. Height is about equal.

exactly what i needed thanks... hah the HJ lense i have in my current beach-beater;s are probably just as bad.. but it serves its job and i dont worry about getting them scratched so much
