R2 to ring in the new year!

So I found a R2, person selling it called it carbon, the pictures said otherwise. I asked again to be sure. Yup, carbon black iridium... Well, it is a plasma with some yellowing at the top, but tight. It has rootbeer rubber and BI lenses (must have replaced at some point).

Awesome find! I say it all the time, the R2 is for some reason the most under appreciated x metal, but in my opinion it's the best one (juliet is tied probably) but I love it. My R2 is front and center in my case

I am liking it, but I don't know where it will end up in the case. It's been like musical chairs in there lately...I think I need more chairs(or a double wide)!

You can't ever go wrong with a double wide. But good luck finding one! I think @mercbezerk bought them all

They are in nice shape other than the discoloration, I like them but looking for replacement parts is not fun...
