The heat won't cause the plexiglass to fog or anything? That's the only concern I have, my butane torch is at ready lol.

generally, applying heat and pressure opposite of the bend/bow will allow it to bend back, but a heat gun won't keep constant heat on a large enough area of the door to fix it. A torch will. Trust me, I know...

I understand the thought behind it.
My thought is that a bow indicates too much material, not necessarily distorted glass, so even if you are to heat it, you would only be pushing the bow outwards.
