LOL! I don't even know where to start...

You know...my OP was not intended to turn this into a troll thread. I was seriously asking the question if it was possible...yes, I searched, but search functions on forums are so inefficient that often the subject you are searching for doesn't quite give you the proper threads.

I had no idea about the AR coating, and I didn't know it would be on the inside of the lens as well. Hence why I asked you guys that know more than I do...I mean think about it...you can sand and buff scratches out of plastic, so I thought maybe it was possible to do it to the lenses.

As you guys have pointed out, it can't be done...cool.
