Rit Dye Rubbers

i just try to Rit dye my spare walleva grey rubbers for 1 hour, they look purple but not IH violets....

Doesn't look too bad. Try mixing it darker. Did you use boiling water? The boiling water opens up the rubber more you get a deeper penetration and possibly darker color.

I was meaning to post the dying process but had a question about how colorfast the dying process is so I never posted it.

Wondering if the grey is inhibiting the full color potential....i bet white could be the trick! Great idea! Looks good!
