Do I just pry out the shocks to put in new ones or is there a better method?

Seems obvious but, I've never done it and don't want to tear them up.

    Thanks

Push them out from the side where the size numbering is. As in push where the numbers are to push them out the other side. Obviously the earstem needs to be folded when you do that.

Thank you. Now it seems very obvious but, I have a history of breaking things.
