haha the problem is that i did try his way.. but its not working for me. i will need to send for a tuneup anyway so maybe just let the warranty handle it

haha! i live in suburbia.. you'll be bored here! I can figure it out. did you have to keep tension on the lens for the rubber donut to stay aligned while you put in the screw?
