Ruby iridium or Fire Iridium?

was told by oakleyonthespot that these were ruby iridium. they look exactly like fire iridium. any opinions?

The simple way to check: Ruby- Blue Base tint Fire-Brown Base tint

hey frank, hey funky, thank u very much for your responses. rather new to this. was wondering what exactly u are looking for on the base tint or how u would go about looking for the base. guess I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for

The base tint is basically the inside color of your lens. They also yield a different color when viewing through the lens.

any ideas on what i could expect to see when looking through a ruby as opposed to a fire?

In a bright environment, if you angle the lens while looking from the back of the lens you should be able to see either a blue hue or a brown hue.

Oakleyonthespot is a member here and an active lens cutter. I would take her word for it. You have nothing to worry about.

Thanks oakley can. I'll look when I get back home. I guess this is more common issue than I thought. I'll post what I find but pretty sure they will be rubys.
