the ruby has a much nicer tint than the black in my opinion. And there is a definite difference from fire to ruby! Ruby is much more dark red

Had the ferrari fuel cell with ruby sent it back for refund hated the blue tint just my opinion mind you.

The ruby isn't quite as dark either. I like both lenses but if you like the light transmission of the BI it's 10% as opposed to 14%. There is a little difference.
