Picked up a pair of split jackets to u se as safety glasses. thoughts?
Sounds like a good idea to me
It is a great idea because you can still use them as an everyday glass when you are done using them with the clear in it. I have a pair set up for the same thing. I use it every time I go to the shooting range. Ice on the way.. Clear while I am there... and I try and get my OO Red Iridium on the way back.
As long as your safety eyewear doesn't need to be OSHA rated! Otherwise they are great!
nah. Ansi is fine lol. gotta pick up some clear lenses though. i don't think they yellow will work
Yep it's perfectly fine because like everyone else said, you can use them as sunglasses too.
love Oakley as safety glasses. I had a super ancient pair of clear Dartboards that i gave to my dental hygienist. She had been looking for them for ages because someone in the office had a pair. She couldn't find them on ebay and she found out I work for Oakley. She asked if I knew what they were and I happened to have a pair. Boom! now she doesn't hurt me so bad when I get a cleaning.
Not a bad way to get a date either.
Q-train, why wouldnt yellow work? i use HI yellow flak jackets when i go shooting, i do believe it was made for night drivers and shooters
Wife wouldn't appreciate that one, especially since we have the same hygienist.
