'Sample' Batwolfs

Picked these up from a friend.
These are the glasses given to Mark Cavendish a couple of years ago by Oakley and are in mint condition :dance3::biggrin1:

Can any one tell me are they only issued to Oakley sponsored riders/athletes?

As far as i'm aware samples are given out to the reps to show in the stores or something like that. Nice clear frame though.

There are some sample frames at my local Vault store.

Yes sample frames are the ones reps can order/or are given to show their accounts. No real discernable differences other than the word "sample" printed on frame, and sometimes the lenses are not as cleanly cut as a finished model. I frequently give mine away as prizes once the model is out in circulation.
