Scratch Defect On Enduro Shaun White ED???

Hi,

Yesterday I have buy one pair of Enduro Sahun White Ed - Black ink frame and black iridium lens - at airport (farway from my hometown).
Today, when I take out the sunglasses from the box I have noticed they have one scratch on the upper left and right corner.
My surprise came when I arrive to another oakley oficial store to compare and noticed that all the black ink frame have the same defect, but the other colors don´t.....
Anybody with the same problem?

i think its a factory quality control issue. i have the same on a pair of holbrooks. same thing with some rayban wayfarers. probably same factory

Believe it or not I have Shaun White Frogskins which have the same 'factory' marks ...

I have purchased some forehands that come with the same 'factory' scratch.

I have already send my claim to oakley. I really don't like This scratches

It's not a scratch, and it's not quality control. It's the line from the mold release from the frame. The poured solid and have no coating, you will see this on most all polished frames

Yes, pit boss you are correct! But it is bad engineering design... I think.
