J161503. what does this number mean, o reveiw is hard to understand.
X metal black.
Guy who sold em to me said they were original 2nd gen rubys......ugh.
I believe that is correct too. I'm not positive, but I remember reading that. Originally, X-Metal / Ruby was a Limited Edition when it became a standard colorway they used that serial number sequence too.

Actually after not much thought I believe RetinaBurn is correct.
How are the lenses?
The same with RetinaBurn that X####### is initial run of Juliet X-Metal/ Ruby and I never see sn above 3xxxxx. Anyway I also doubt how J###### was used and distinguished between black and ruby. Anyone has info?
Lenses are perfect,they have a touch of purple in the center and go yellow on the outside edges.the serial number is gold in color.
The xman is learning about the details.i like to repair/restore and console you historians when i have detailed questions.
