I came to this forum to look for spare socks for my Jipiters but then I found this sub-forum!

I've got a pair of white Canteens that have seen better days. The socks are practically destroyed, I broke one of the temple hinges, they're stained and getting some good nicks in them.

I had thought of "painting" them some how but was afraid they'd get sticky or tacky. And I too have thought about using plasti-dip to sort of replace the socks.

So glad I found this forum. Looks like I'll be spending quite a bit of time reading on the best things to use.
