How can you tell fakes in this line, new to collecting and have only had my hands on one pair of Pit Boss II's? I might have just throw a whole lot of light on possible great deals but my fraud senses kicked on when I saw all 4 were all from one country, idk Canada Geography well but I don't see this many coming from all over the US....

Yeah definitely be skeptical since all sellers have fairly low feedback, and it looks like most are missing the box, which is a big tip off. I'm sure some PB experts will chime in soon with some more info.

If it's too good to be true...

Its common consensus on the PB's that if your missing the box/ elite bag buyer beware.

grrr, without really thinking until after I looked at the items I placed bid on each one of them, now trying to contact e-bay and the sellers to remove my bids, is there any other way to resolve or if I end up winning do I then have to prove them fake (how's that done???) and then send them back to the seller? I haven't made a lot of eBay purchases and wasn't clearly thinking obviously today, advise anyone?

p.s. just read my own posts and realized that the first thing that came to mind was: "you're an idiot..." ugh, too much eBay surfing and not enough sleep, combined with lack of knowledge could make this a bad day, hopefully the sellers will delete my bids, or some poor sod worse than me outbids me... grrr.... wouldn't wish fakes on my worst enemy, well, maybe some enemies...:vinsent:

There is an option to retract your bid.

Doesn't make sense to me why all the fake pit bosses seem to come from Canada.

Probably because it's easier to import them from the source than into the US.

The "UV400" is also a dead giveaway. What normal seller is going to cite UV400 protection as a selling point?
