Stuck Frame Screws , Is WD-40 Ok?

I'm trying to change the lenses on my titanium crosshairs but the frame screws are not budging and I don't want to strip them out. Is it ok if I use a drop of WD40 to loosen them? I just am making sue so I don't mess up the finish. These are the titanium with Tungsten Iridium. Thanks guys

Yes it did. Soaked em a bit and they twisted right out.

Sorry to hijack this but I have the exact same crosshairs and one of the ear stems has got a bit loose. I can 't get the screw to turn at all. Just wondering how hot the water should be? Is boiling too hot?

Your first mistake is probably trying to use a crappy screwdriver.

If the water's boiling you likely won't be able to hold on to them. Try not to dip the lens. I mean, it's not like you can't let the lens touch water, but I wouldn't heat the lenses.

Do they still use a dab of loctite on the lens screws?
