So, I do not have an O store close, there are a couple Sunglass Huts near me. I do not pay retail for pretty much anything, but I thought I might be able to get some info and maybe check out a few pairs in person. I walk in and a young lady who seems fairly lost greets me and asks if she can help. I tell her I'm just looking, but was wondering if she had any info on the Madman/Badman release; she looks at me like your dog might when you tell them about your day (confused head at a 45). I give a little description and price range, she now looks at me like your dog after you step in a steaming pile (still confused, but a little worried). I realize I'm wasting my time so I turn to look at what they do have... Oh a Tinfoil, kinda cool "do you have any of the Tinfoil Carbons" (the head begins to tilt again). "Ok, how about Tincans, they look very similar to these but (her eyes glaze over a bit)..." I walk out shaking my head (she stares at the ceiling and slowly drifts back into a haze). I need to go on a road trip!

Most of them had no idea even oakley sometimes does not have any idea.
I thought that may be the case, but wow was that a wasted trip. I'm trying to figure out who would find her helpful... I guess if you are looking for someone to say "those look cute!", she's probably awesome!

That is one thing I can't stand is people who don't know what they are selling. I run a hotel and know customer service and just makes me mad that she didn't know what products she was selling!

My local SGH's saving grace is the lady who works there; she's hot and perky. But the O merchandise is limited in there. And when I get the urge to visit another 3rd party dealer, a bargain pops up, negating my need to visit.

At least there is a "perk" to going there. Knowledge of the product would be nice, deals (even better), but I've had better service at Scheels (its like its own mall). Those employees aren't "sunglass specialists" but at least they try. I will be going to Cali in the next couple months and will have to map out the O stops to see what they have to offer.
