The spring hinges make the "grip" more comparable to a Penny. Only much lighter.

they are not as tight as the x metals. think of a regular avatar with the different shaped lenses. very light but equally strong.

I tried on the tailpin yesterday, and loved them. Tried on the daily prizm polar version, and fell in love. I will be picking these up eventually. The wife loved them for herself too, so, I guess I'll be getting two. At least this will help my Type-O account, Lol.
