Tapatalk And File Attachments: Opinions Needed?

In addition, we could set attachments as only visible by members, meaning guests would register more to see them

Personally I hate when forums do that, especially those that don't have immediate registration (not that O forum does).

To my post above, when I'm navigating mobile this is the bottom of the page to me. I have to go past the reply box to get a link, or go back to the top to get a refreshed New Post page.

Ok, so you're looking for a "refresh" button down there and/or a "Top" button that brings you to the top of the page?

Tried Tapatalk on another forum once a year or so ago and hated it, so wouldn't bother me if it was enabled or not.

I'm liking the mobile layout now better than when I was on it an hour or so ago. At first, the text wasn't wrapping to fill the screen, instead had to scroll over. Overall, seems pretty good, although I haven't done any posting or editing yet.

In terms of image hosting, I guess I don't see why that would really be necessary at all anymore, especially considering the costs associated. Photobucket and many others offer free image hosting and are easily pasted into the site currently. Would seem an easy feature to get rid of and save costs.

I like Tapatalk, but I don't use many of the other forums on it so if I lost OF on Tapa it's no big deal.

Attachments are a massive undertaking. I prefer the global movement of internet users to find a permanent storage solution for their files on the internet and use <img> tags to post pics. On the other hand, attachments show up regardless of websense or similar web filters, which I also like.

I am with others on this topic. I would give up tapatalk if the site had its own image hosting. I only use tapatalk to upload images for sale threads, new purchases and what are you wearing today? If the site could host its own imgages, I would have no need for tapatalk.
