Oakley Juliet Guide - The 9 OEM Juliet frame finishes

This has been one of my milestone goals for my Juliet collection for some time, and one that really isn't so easy to complete for that model as the other x-metals. Of course, that also means it is quite a rewarding thing to aim for and, especially, to finally achieve.

I have chosen a representative of each frame finish, rather than across all generations. I could have done that, particularly for plasma where the difference is by far the biggest, but the goal was to hit the nine differently named finishes, so that is what is presented here.

Without further ado, let's get the first group shot:

For reference, by row, starting on the left and going bottom to top:

24k, titanium, brown, x-metal, polished.

Polished carbon, TiO2, carbon, plasma.

Hope that helps a few people who were wondering about differences between frame finishes. It was certainly fun to put together! Now, if one of the three OEM purple owners wants to offer theirs up... ;)

Awesome! Very impressive collection! I didn't even know that the X-Metal had a brown colorway. I was wondering if you could post more photos of this color but on it's own. Thanks for your time and Congratulations on this milestone! :)

Carrera i have 2 pairs of "black" frames would they be classed as carbon frames?
Yes, unless they are custom. Some carbons have serials, some plain arms and some size and SKU, depending on the generation they are from.

Thanks Carrera
No i dont think they are custom and they don't have serial numbers on the arms so yeah they're carbon

Amazing collection of Juliet. Never seen many of those before. My next purchase will be an x-metal. One question Carrera1963, do you wear them?
Yep, sunglasses are for wearing! Though I did find one with Hydrophobic sticker still on when going through them, but that one will get its turn too. It was carbon/BI or BIP so I had a near-duplicate already being worn.
