It all started with a screwed up quote and went to hell from there.I see ... so the odd-looking nested quoting is really an example of a more generic issue that has been around for awhile. Seems like a solution would be, at the end of each post, to automatically close any HTML tags opened within that post. In fact, without that functionality, one could theoretically insert tags in a post to alter the behavior of the page that the post displays on.
Not sure how easy it would be to implement the automatic closing of open HTML tags, though ...
