A shelf whore is a pair that sits on the shelf and is only admired, not worn.

No Shelf Whores club members wear all their pairs. Admittedly, sometimes some more frequently than others. But they all get worn. That doesn't preclude storing them on a shelf between wearings.

And there's nothing wrong with having shelf whores, if that's what you want to spend your money on.

I guess i fall in this category then lol. I rotate pairs and wear them carefully as much as i can.
