I know the TB was released in late 1998 and originally had serials; which were later dropped.

Did they discontinue the serials on TBs at the same time they did on x-metals (end of 2004)? If not, when?

Also, when were TBs discontinued altogether?

Not quite - I did recently buy one (not from ebay) and I've found out some context info but I'm looking to fill in more gaps...
