I must have been ten or eleven and I saw my cousin wearing what I think were Blades. I thought they were the coolest thing I'd ever seen. I thought about stealing them...but didn't. It was years later afterI learned how not to break or destroy ever pair of sunglasses I owned that I trusted myself to start my Oakley collection.

Blades are my favorite pair of all time. Back when everyone was wearing Wayfarers, anybody with Blades was on the cutting edge of cool.

The Eye Jacket caught my eyes when it first came out. Those were my first pair.
