UV protected lenses or not?

Hi All,

I bought some Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Silver 03-920 - Fire Iridium sunglasses in 2013 while I was on holiday in the Maldives, I lost a previous pair

Does anyone know if the lenses on these have UV protection or is there anyway to test for it? I know the ones on the website say they are but I'm not sure if ones bought 3 years ago are the same.

All OEM Oakley lenses have 100% UV protection. I don't know of any home tests you can perform but you might be able to check your local eye glass store to see if they have any way of verifying for you.

As long as you know your lenses are OEM Oakley's, you are good to go

The UV protection isn't anything special Oakley's doing to the lenses; it's an innate property of polycarbonate, which Oakley lenses are made out of.
