Does the current GF have any concerns about anything else that you used to share with your ex?
Seriously- we all have pasts, history and memories from past relationships.
I'd be concerned about a GF that cares about a watch that you got from someone else and gives you enough grief to make you want to sell it. Be it a GMT or anything else.
Tell her to replace it with a nicer one.

Well she DOES spoil me in the material dept. and said she plans on getting me a new one. Already grabbed my hand and took me to look at the new Oakleys!!
