Hopefully not the wrong section totally but I went into a shop today (where I bought my first oakleys as a 12 year old actually) and whilst looking for a new cycle helmet spied an x metal vault on the shelf NIB .Haven't seen one for years, the foam is giving up even as they've jus sat in their box but I was surprised and made him an offer, he then produced a second that was in the draw, he was delighted to sell them as they'd been sitting there since 2001 according to his stock sticker!

Of course the title should read "X" metal!
I hadn't realised how hard finding an X vault would be really until I got my XS pairs and wanted something for them to live in!

Great find. Same thing happened to me 2 different times with x-metal vaults.
Found one at a golf shop and a bike shop.

Never know what you will find.

I'm not sure if it was much of a deal as I don't really know what they go for these days to be honest, but I gave him £30 for the two which was less than the sticker price, I was just happy to have a case that m "X"'s fit in tbh!
