Why would they send them back to corp? Wouldn't they just sell them off/down at the stores?

It's Policy as far as I've seen... Disco's items get sold in store for a little and then get placed in the back for in store employee purchases... Then they get shipped back to HQ for more internal sales and then the annual warehouse sale...

I gotsta get me one of the Minute Machines before they're gone. Or maybe a Hollow Point...
Minute machines are on the SI site but still expensive....
To the proper watch guys, they were never going to be more than another fashion brand but they were priced in line with entry level serious watch brands (the likes of Raymond Weil), and occasionally straying into mid-tier pricing and competing with Omega etc.
I think they never quite knew where they wanted to be with the watches; either offer an affordable budget line, like say Fossil, or go a bit more all in to a watch sideline as per Mont Blanc. Oakley vacillated a bit between the extremes and never quite settled anywhere.
