    I was gazing at my Romeos on their stands when this thought occurred. I think it would work (the base is wide enough to accomadate all but the most 'portly' of pieces. Also, I liked the thought of transparent stands because it takes nothing away from the piece on it, asthestetics wise.

    or you could do them in frosted and put LED's on the back to make them glow.

    Were thinking along the same lines @SiRacer420

    Only thing on thinking about it, the base may be needed to be a little thicker..

    You could, but most clear filament is not clear at all (nothing like acrylic/lexan). It comes out more frosted looking. Here's a little dino I printed for my son yesterday with clear filament.
