Just my experience with them and I have had 5-6 pair. When they were new they were great. These have been out of production for 10 years or so now. I bought a couple replacement pairs of ones I had owned before and they just didnt hold up like my first few pairs. I still have at least one of my original pairs that I wear from time to time, still an awesome shoe. I guess what I am saying is, that if you dont know the environment they have been kept in they may not hold up. My first few pairs I had lasted for years, the ones I bought recently only about 6 months. Dont get them wet. I think that is what killed my last pairs. The soles started to separate where they are glued on the side of the canvas. Just my $.03.

BTW, it should say the model on the backside of the finger pull.
