Iridium is a meta ( a rare one ) in the earth but exist in smal proprtions but in meteorites is more common what they mean by iridum ?

Iridium is veri resisten to high temperatures and is one of the most dense materials
But I dont see how apply to Sunglasess

The Xmetal Frames are made of iridium ?

It's the lens coat. Gives a mirror effect where most times other people can't see ur eyes

Yeah it's just a marketing term. Like o-matter, unobtainium, and plutonite. And x-metal...

But it's the mirror coating, probably inspired by the word "iridescence" instead of the element iridium. I'm guessing.

Superheated metal oxide coating. Just a coating and is bonded to the lense but heat. Not a film like others.
