What's considered a low serial # for X-metal ruby Juliets?

Well here are the pics as promised. I bought these back around 2000 or so, I really don't remember. I changed the lenses to Emerald Iridium about 1.5-2 years ago.

And after some digging I found my coin.

Anything under 1,000?
Early ones with serials starting with X and with nice lenses bring about $500 because the tint in the ruby is more reddish purple than the newer ones ("Fruby" or Fire Ruby to collectors) which are mostly more fire than ruby. Conventional wisdom believes this change was driven by higher manufacturing cost of the original "Xmen" ruby.

First time I read fruby I thought it referred to "fake rubys".
