What's more important...Frames or Lenses?

I'd never heard of 'Costa Del Mar' until you mentioned them. A quick Google later, and I now completely understand your statement that Oakley styling is far better.
Or to put it more bluntly, I looked at the CDM range and (after chuckling for a while) thought "Holy sh1t man that's some fk ugly glasses right there".

I dont think Oakley makes the best lenses Costa Del Mar 580G have better clarity to me and cause less eye fatigue over a whole days use and less rear reflection. I like the variety of Oakley tints and the darkness of the Black Iridium. Style too in the choices available far better. In my case frame determines my choice the most (for fit) that is not style.

In my opinion it's like asking if Rolex or Omega is the better watch maker. Pros and cons of both, but definitely both VERY fine pieces to own. But there are likely 'better' but lesser known companies out there.
