out of curiosity, are Oakleys watches aluminum? Would annodizing work?

Stainless or titanium I believe. Aluminum would be too soft I think. But I could be wrong

gotcha.. i figured annodizing would be a fast and easy way to change the colors of these but you cant annodize steel if i remember correctly.

They are a mix of various metals. Some Ti, Some Stainless, but no aluminum that I have seen. Ti can be anodized but certain colors are not possible on ti since it is not dyed like aluminum. Ti color is controlled via electrical voltage

How much does this cost? I have thought about doing a heat treatment on one of my watches to make it rainbow but I have not found anyone to take it apart and put it back together yet.
