Where To Try On Oakley Pit Boss?

Hi Simonh - couldn't help but notice you were looking for some stockists in the UK. We're Shade Station, a UK-based Oakley specialist with a store in Leeds and an online shop (in case you didn't fancy the drive)! Our site's www.shadestation.co.uk, and we've got a few videos of the Pit Boss and Pit Boss II at youtube.com/shadestation.

We offer FREE next-day UK delivery for online orders over £50 too. Hope this helps, and if you've any further questions feel free to let me know!

Cheers,

- Jake from Shade Station

No problem Simonh, and good question. Asian Fit sunglasses usually feature longer nosepads with smaller bridges, to ensure the glasses sit a bit higher on the wearer's face than European fit ones - they've also got a slightly less curved frame so they don't sit on the wearer's cheeks, and slightly more rounded earstems for a secure fit. They've also got nosepads that are easier to adjust if need be. Hope this helps!

Sorry jake one more question what sort of size are they compared to split frames. I have a pair of these and like them but iv read the pit boss are large?

Hi Simonh, it's no problem - always happy to help an Oakley fan in need! From what I can gather, the Pit Boss II has a similar eye size to the Split Jacket (at around 60mm for standard size) and roughly the same bridge size, which is 18-19mm. I think the main difference is the amount of frame you get with them; they're definitely chunkier than the Split Jacket, but a real step down from the likes of Oil Rig in terms of size, etc. Hope this is helpful, and feel free to ask if you've any further questions :)

- Jake
