So I had mine extracted today. Hurts like hell. How long does this usually last? Any other forum members have experience in this?

Mine hurt bad for 3 days, sore for about 2 weeks. REMEMBER TO IRRIGATE THE OPENINGS!!! doing so will speed up healing big time and keep the area safe from infection.

I second that advice. I was lucky because mine were not impacted. When I came to afterwards, I thought we had not started yet, and I asked the guy if he could do it again because I missed the whole thing haha. I just took some regular Advil for a few days after and followed instructions for no straws. Don't push it, follow the doc's advice.

Mine bled quite a lot and the next morning the nurse offered me Cornflakes for breakfast. If I recall my response was along the lines of "fuggoff"!

Rinse your mouth with salt water.
Use tea bags instead of gauze. Tea leaves help with pain and clotting.
