X metal Juliet Serial Numbers

I noticed my Oakleys had a serial number written on frame but when I google it, I found 2 listings on ebay which ended last year with the same serial number. Is this a sign that these are fake/reproduced or is it normal to have the same serial number?

Is it a late pair with SKU and size rather than an actual serial number? If, say, it's in the format 04-149 55 O 21, then that's not a serial and all models in the fifth gen have common numbers for the frame/lens combo.

Lacking pics, I'd bet Carrera1963 nailed it. SKU being confused with serial; serials are unique per frame, SKUs are not...
