X Metal Polish

Hi all, was just wandering if anybody has polished a pair of X Metals themselves?? If so then what did you use and is it easy? I have a pair of XXs that I'm thinking of playing with as the coating is a bit battered so don't mind polishing them up. They are my wear pair

I did a plasma Juliet and the bridge of an R1. Also a few watches, will post a few pics. X Metal would be easier, plasma was time consuming to remove. Started with 300 grit and progressed to 2000. Final polish was with a dremal and Blue Magic polish.

Would love to see those pics! I have thought about it as well but haven't seen the process or many good finished products.
