X-Metal Rivet Removal Tool. Where To Find One?

yde2uhar.jpg
i have one but it's worth it if you could find a rubber piece

Anyone ever disassembled a pair of fake Juliets? Could that be a possible donor source for nose bridge rubbers?

To answer OP's question. That looks like a small chain press, used to disassemble chains like those used on a bicycle. You'd just have to have, or make the correct size pin....it should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the rivet pin. The key is to press it out with straight, even pressure. There's probably a dozen different ways it could be done. A small arbor press should work as well, but you may need to build some type of caul to support the backside. You probably wouldn't want to use the flat arbor plates since it's not a flat surface.

I gathered that it was similar to a chain press, trouble is finding one with the correct pin, or one that allows the pin to be changed.
