I have tried to search and found nothing which probably answers my question, but I will ask anyway. Can x-metal stands be used to display plastic frame glasses? I like the way the metal stands look a little better ( I like both ). Sorry for the f.n.g question.

If you like the look.......then you've already answered your own question. You don't need affirmation.

Yes they work just as well for plastic frames. They work best for x metal frames in my opinion because they show off the jet intakes

I am always cautious of the edges of the groove where the folded arms sit.
I prefer to use the plastic display stands for the coated plastic frames (black/white chrome, FMJ etc...)

They work just fine...it is just a matter of personal preference and availability.
