X Squared Orbital Insert

So i was changing the lenses on my X Squared, which I had never done before, and I noticed that on the inside of each orbital, on the top, has a foam or rubber insert much like a Jawbone. I guess it keeps the lens from moving around. Has anyone else seen these?

I remember seeing that in mine when I had a pair. Seems to make sense as it equals less wear and tear when changing lenses.

Is this in all of the X Squared glasses?

I've owned two and they both had that so I'm assuming so.

They have been in all of my X Squared frames.

They have been in all the 3 XS frames I have owned.

You will also find a very thin strip of silicone or foam rubber in the groove of the Juliet orbital also.
