****k the trains. I commute over four hours a day on trains for the past three years. And they are the worst. At least 1/3 of the time they are late or not going because of a signal problem

But yeah to work would suck. I'm talking about like for vacations to other states. A high speed rail. More like Japan has had since the 90s. Let's get the US to the 20th century

It works for them because they have such a dense population in a relatively small area. Try getting mass transit out to Wyoming. The reason it would never work in the States is because of geography, population density and cultural differences to name a few. It would cost so much to implement the infrastructure required to never see enough ROI to keep it running.
