What is Oakley MVP?

Oakley MVP is the brand’s loyalty program that is open to the public. This program is an evolution of the more reclusive Type O Program which previously existed.

Oakley MVP Benefits Explained

Replacement Protection

Easily the biggest value in the MVP program – If you damage your Oakleys within the first year of buying a pair of sunglasses, you can get 50% of the original purchase value off of a new pair!

For those wearing their Oakleys during heavy contact/endurance sports or first responders/military – this is a huge benefit!

Just remember to save your proof of purchase (e.g your receipt) to use this benefit!

Overall, Oakley is clearly appealing to the active lifestyle/athletes with this benefit.

Member Only Offers

Members-only offers are targeted offers based on your preferences and purchase history, in addition to discounts/credits based on milestones, such as your birthday.

Expect a 10-20% off discount code for your birthday, along with similar codes, as you increase your purchasing.

Since the MVP program is free to join, getting a 20% discount code is a great deal either way.

Priority Access

One of the biggest benefits for collectors – Oakley MVP offers previews and first opportunities to buy new releases, collections, and product launches.

We’ve already seen Oakley use the MVP Program for their Holiday Collection and similarly limited edition launches, alerting members via email of availability. If your looking to get in early, this feature makes it worth it alone.

Exclusive Experiences

Exclusive events are reserved for the program’s top-tier members and raffles so this won’t be readily available, but it’s still a fun way to reward customers.

Previous events include front-row tickets to the Super Bowl, PGA tour events, and MotoGP tickets. These sports all align with Oakley’s partnerships, so we expect them to continue to offer similar experiences!

My favorite is the 50% off a new pair if you damage them within the first year with your receipt. What happened to the 1 year replacement warranty with receipt? or 2 years when registered?

Or the old "If you have all the parts you get a new replacement pair free" like in the nineties...

I was thinking of stuff that wasn't covered under warranty. Maybe that's what that is... I would hope they aren't killing the warranty for that.
