It&#8217;s futuristic and retro all in one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>And combined with the medium wrap the large shield lens actually provides great coverage. Because of the frameless design, the earstems attach directly to the shield at the temple. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like most performance lifestyle Oakleys the frame is made of lightweight O Matter material. This helps to prevent your sunglasses from slipping off your face even when wet or sweaty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stems also feature a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oakleyforum.com\/guides\/every-oakley-logo-font\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">classic ellipsis O icon<\/a> similar to what you&#8217;d find on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oakleyforum.com\/guides\/oakley-radar-radarlock-ev-differences\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Radars<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EVZero Blades design diverges from styles like the EVZero Path with its visor shape. The single toric shield and nosepad are really the only things you can see looking at the front of this frame. But this futuristic design also has some benefits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lens itself is made of impact-resistant Plutonite material, which is standard for new Oakleys. Plus with colors like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oakleyforum.com\/guides\/oakley-prizm-road-lens-cycling-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prizm Road<\/a> and Prizm Trail, they&#8217;re built for activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, what really makes EVZero Blades ideal for running, biking or any other sports is the maximum coverage. The futuristic frameless lens isn&#8217;t just for style, it&#8217;s also very practical. Removing the frame opens up peripheral vision on all sides of this lens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We tested this during a Saturday bike ride and were actually surprised by how well the frame worked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;d still likely pick a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oakleyforum.com\/guides\/best-oakley-cycling-sunglasses-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cycling-specific frame<\/a> like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oakleyforum.com\/guides\/oakley-encoder-sunglasses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Encoder<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oakleyforum.com\/guides\/oakley-jawbreaker-prizm-road-sunglasses-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jawbreaker<\/a> over these. However, you can find a few aftermarket retailers selling them or some lenses on eBay. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sure to do your research and understand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oakleyforum.com\/guides\/oakley-replacement-lenses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">what to look for when buying replacement lenses.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To remove EVZero Blades lenses, simply pull apart the lens where it meets the earstems in the corner. This will require a firm grip so proceed with caution.
