As a Marine I'm partial to the .45 1911 but it's nice to get the extra 2 rounds from a .38 Super and with a stronger spring you can shoot the even hotter 9 x 23.

As it is an anodized finish I would say yes. When I was active duty military my "brass" was anodized (didn't want to polish brass weekly) and it held up very well.
I see no reason why it would not hold up well also.
For the 18K gold and coppers on the left and center Juliets & XS Ryan did the plating; he and @RonkPM refined the process here in the US- a base strike Nickel plate and the copper/gold finish plated over then sealed with a e-coating called Kliar.
The Juliet not on a stand is anodized and came...
TY. Yes I would like a copper R1 at some point but when I had the others plated I did not have an R1 shabby enough to refinish.
You know the quote tho, if you wait by the river long enough the bodies of your enemies will float by.
