Its technically considered a "Forward Deployment" but i don't even count it as one at all. Its not bad at all here. Im enjoying it very much and being stationed here gives us opportunities to travel for different training i.e. Guam, Australia, Africa etc... Looking forward to it all.
I am an enlisted United States Marine currently serving with 5th ANGLICO stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Im an 0621 Field Radio Operator and work with Forward Observers in my unit. Our job is to call in fire missions and air support for artillery and air strikes.
Thank you all for your continuos support. Making this simple thread on showing your appreciations means a lot to all of us serving. A big thank you from all of us from 5th ANGLICO stationed in Okinawa, Japan!
I've never heard of or even seen candy cane icons for fuel cells, but I could be wrong. It could be a custom icon paint job he did himself and claiming that they were never released to the public must to make them sound rare.
I just got mine in the mail today. They came with the IH poster, IH pin, IH micro bag, the hard case and the extra set of grey lenses with the cross/shield etched on the bottom left corner the same way as the violet lenses. Love these glasses and trust me, it'll be worth the wait!
Thanks for the info man, I'm going to keep on tracking them down. And as far as ordering them from Europe...never had purchased anything online from Europe and a little cautious about sending the money
